Feasibility study about the urbanization of an area roughly ten hectares located in the center of Yaoundé, one of the two main cities of Cameroon jointly to Douala.
The area, currently used by spontaneous construction and wooden shacks, will be reclaimed to restore a marshy area. It will then be divided by functions in such a way as to create a pole containing various types of activities and services useful to the community.
The land plot is characterized by the presence of a river that runs along the area and along which a filter, pedestrian and cycle area has been provided, to link the school campus with the bus station and sports facilities.
The new road system has been designed not to interfere with the current traffic along the main artery, with preferential routes to access the lots and with the construction of two new roundabouts.
The lot takes an area of ten hectares and will require a considerable amount of land fill to compensate level altimetric differences, roughly 4 meters between the lowest points and the final level.
All buildings structures will be built by prefabricated wall systems to allow rapid execution and guarantee an higher quality level than typical of Cameroon buildings.
3D models, renderings and animations carried out are based on the BIM Technology which allowed an easy integration between the need for design speed and the preparation of metric calculations , as well as the possibility for the customer to be able to view in realistic way the final result.
